A cordless vacuum deal needs more than a low price
A good vacuum shortlist starts with the floors and awkward corners in your home. It also needs a fresh price check: the Dreame R10S Lite listing has changed since our earlier check.

The price changed
Appliance City now lists the black Dreame R10S Lite VRV80A at £159.00 including VAT, in stock when checked on 11 October. Our older listing said £99.00 on 3 October. We have corrected that old price. Do not treat a remembered sale price as the amount you will pay, and do not assume the change means a new discount is available.
Build a route through your home
Think about your normal clean: the largest floor area, the stairs, underneath furniture and the place you will store the vacuum. A cordless format removes the need to move a power cable between sockets, but it does not tell you whether the machine is comfortable for your route. Check the actual weight, handle layout and accessories in the retailer's specification and manual. If any of those details are missing, settle them before ordering rather than guessing from the photograph.
Ask the battery question properly
A headline runtime is only useful when you know the power mode and tool used for the measurement. Compare the runtime for the mode you expect to use, the charging time and how the battery can be replaced. We have not verified those figures for this listing, so we are not publishing a runtime claim or promising whole-house cleaning on one charge. That uncertainty belongs in the decision, not in tiny print after a recommendation.
Check the cost after purchase
Find out how to clean the filters, whether replacement filters and batteries are available and what is included in the box. Then add any delivery charge to the price. These checks help you compare the real purchase, rather than a machine with an appealing headline and unknown upkeep. If your existing vacuum still works and the main problem is one awkward spot, an attachment or a change in storage may be worth checking before replacing the whole machine.
Our buying view
The R10S Lite is a live, earning listing on Kinetic, not a tested winner. Use it as a candidate if a cordless stick format suits your home. Buy only once its battery, tools and handling match the job. This guide deliberately stops short of suction, pet-hair or reliability claims we have not tested.
